PASTOR BILL FOSS

Philippians 3: 13-14 (NIV)
Brothers and sisters,  I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.  I press toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
I serve as the Lead Pastor for Selinsgrove Church of the Nazarene.  My wife Danielle and I, along with our three children, Josiah,  Lillian,  and Israel joined SCN in June 2018.  My primary responsibilities include preaching,  vision casting,  discipleship training,  and developing new leaders.

I graduated from Eastern Nazarene College in May 2002 with a Bachelors of Art degree in Youth Ministries.  I was ordained an Elder of the Church of the Nazarene in 2006.  I have also served as a Youth Pastor in Massachusetts,  Iowa,  and Pennsylvania.  I have spent 10+ years to serve the Lord and His church as a Lead Pastor.

My life verse is Philippians 3: 13-14
“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. I press toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

One of my favorite characteristics about Jesus is his Servant Leadership: exercising Godly leadership as Christ did,  by his taking a towel,  influencing,  equipping,  and empowering people to accomplish God’s purpose and plan. ( Luke 22:26 )

Some of my hobbies and interests include my family, BOSTON RED SOX baseball,  and I love to vacation at the ocean and at Disney World.
