Romans 12: 1-2 (NIV)
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good,  pleasing and perfect will.

Hi! My name is Terry Heintzelman and I am currently serving part-time as the Director of Discipleship and Small groups for the Selinsgrove Church of the Nazarene. Two of my favorite verses are Romans 12: 1-2 where we are called to be “living sacrifices and to not be conformed to the world, but to be transformed.” That is a continual challenge for me as I negotiate this event we know as life.

I am married to my best friend, Cathy, and have been for 37 years. I have two boys who are out on their own. I retired from public education in 2016. In 2017-19 I served as a part-time Director of Youth Ministries here at the church, and took over this new challenge in the area of discipleship near the end of 2019. I also used to coach football at the high school level and still enjoy the game.

I am currently involved in the community by serving on the Programming Committee for the Regional Engagement Center in Selinsgrove, the Snyder County Children and Youth Advisory Board, the Selinsgrove High School Alumni Association, and the Gideons International.
